Target Practice

Rachel entered the area, making sure it was empty. She took out three silver, ninja stars and got ready to throw them with her right hand. Rachel turned a bit to the side, preparing to throw. Rachel finally threw them after a few seconds, and she watched them hit on, or around the center.

I walked in with my bow and quiver on my back.I drew my bow and then notched an arrow aiming carefully and shot a arrow at the bulls eye mark.It almost hit the mark but was off by an inch"darn it"I said under my breathe and notched another arrow.

Rachel looked over at a boy who had just entered. Rachel watched him shoot the arrow, and looked with appreciation. Hopefully before he noticed, she ran towards her target, to get her three ninja stars.

I saw a girl and smiled nervously"h...hello"he stuttered nervously.

Rachel took a few steps back, unsure. "Hello..?" She asked in her child- like voice. Rachel frowned her voice was almost as bad as her hair.

I gulped"my name is Ty"I said nervously and shot another arrow at the target,this time it hit the bulls eye.

Rachel turned her attention back to her target, but more weary. The boy, Ty could be more dangerous then she though. "Rachel.." She said a tad bit coldly. Rachel took two of her ninja stars and threw them at the target with both hands. Purposely aiming for the outer circle, on the left and right side.

Rachel coughed, she wished she was stronger. "Freyja.." Her cheeks turned scarlet, but she was lucky she was looking away. "Yours?" Rachel asked, with a bit more confidence.

Rachel sighed, she wasn't in the mood for being mean, but she didn't want to be viewed as weak. She knew she wouldn't hurt an innocent person, but joking around was okay. Rachel took one of her ninja stars and smiled, she threw it purposely a few inches away from Ty, so it hit the bench but not him.

Rachel felt a twinge of guilt, but brushed it off. She only meant it as a joke. She ran over to Ty, and grabbed the star. "I was only messing with you.."

Rachel coughed, "most people do. It's not something bad." Rachel whistles and a small raven flew towards them. Raven her raven was close by.

Rachel laughed softly, "you already told me that, Ty!" She said, her laugh turning into quiet giggles.

Rachel smiled, she say down on the bench next to Ty. She couldn't figure it why she was so nice all of a sudden. Rachel ran a free hand through her fire, red hair. "I wouldn't have noticed, but my memory is good.."

Rachel sighed, she knew it wouldn't last. Her bitterness returned while she collected her stars. Raven flew back away, in a bad mood as well. Rachel left.
