Jink looked from one to another. The girl seemed dark, but not the evil type. He pulled the hood of his jacket over his head and thrust his hands deep into his pockets. A cold wind from the north buffeted him and he gritted his teeth. Deciding against talking to them, he absently toyed with the hilt of his sword.

I wait Patiently. "Perhaps I didn't make myself clear. I am Ophelia, Queen of the Sea of Black Tears, and Maiden of Infinite Sorrows." I withdrew my hand. the air around me continued to bubble with black liquid.

LUcas lifted his hand and smiled sadistically at the boy. "Dropping the temperature means nothing to me you fool." He chided and lit his hand on fire. "The name is Lucas, Bearer of the Flame of Destruction, Son of Mischeif and Chaos......and bringer of Ragnarok." He whispered the last part to where only Ophelia would here.

Jink was instantly at attention. "That explains a lot then," he said frostily, his eyes colder than his voice. "Son of Loki, watch your step." His breath came out in white puffs while his eyes remained as cold as ever. The wind picked up speed, blowing hard into their faces and the wind chill lowered the temperature still further. Plants suddenly stiffened as the water molecules within them froze as hard as ice. Jink glared at Lucas, hardly aware of what he was doing.

I smile at the comment Bringer of Ragnarok. I had a relative named Riggnarok, once.

I give this frostbitten fool a look so cold it dropped the temperature further. "Must you insist on doing that?"

"This is annoying and you won't freeze me."Lucas said and then the fire in his hand grew and covered his entire body. He took a step forward. "You waste your energy with me. I have neither the time nor the patience to deal with you. Ignorant sh*t." He said getting ready to turn this place into the hottest land ever.

Lucas flicked another look at the son of Höðr, but didn't engage him any further. He relaxed and the fire that had engulfed his body extinguished easily. He turned his attention back to the girl, Ophelia, and answered. "For now my purpose is to lay low. Loki intends for me to sabatoge a plan to save Balder from dieing. A task that I'm going to enjoy greatly." He said it in a quiet tone so that the boy couldn't hear anything that was being said between Lucas and Ophelia.

Jink smirked, but this was going nowhere. "Ain't my fault, and unlike you two, I have better things to do than scheme." He watched them closely for reactions.

I ignore the kid entirely. I continue my conversation with the child of Loki. "is that so? i'm trying to find my ex. I plan on Killing him in vengeance."

"Sounds pretty fun. Mind if help you?" Lucas asked her. He shot her one of his trademark sadistic smirks. The idea of just doing something, whether it be killing someone's ex or...hell even playing chess sounded more fun then just doing nothing all day.

Jink heaved a mock sigh. This was so stupid. Both of them seemed addled. His boots cracked down on stiff and frozen blades of grass as he headed off. There seemed to be something very wrong with the situation.

Lucas noticed the tears and raised an eyebrow. "You ok?" He asked her. Suddenly he felt really weird. 'What the hell? Was that....caring...in my tone? No it couldn't have been. I don't even know this girl, why would I care for her?' He though to himself as he waited for an answer.

I closed my hand, and the flow of tears stopped. "apart from my heart being torn apart? i'm fine." I looked at the kid. was he actually being caring? I probably shouldn't have cared, but somehow I did.

Lucas shook his head a bit. "This cold must be getting to me after all." He said trying to make up some excuse for that moment of caring. He shot two streams of fire to form a circl around him and her. It quickly warmed up the air and extinguished just as fast.

I looked at the kid's ease of fire use. "Nice" I said, though I wondered how fire would affect my power over the Tears.

Lucas smirked a bit again. "Thanks. It's not really that hard since I'm Loki's son. The only thing I hate is what a son of Surt can do with fire and heat." He said feeling a bit envious of the demi-giant children of the King of the Fire Giants.

Lucas felt like he hadn't elaborated enough on what he had said. But he didn't say anything else. He already felt weird enough around her. Why he did though was the question? What the hell was going on with him?

I looked at him "I am the descandent of Holler, and the Daughter of Vali. does this answer your question?" the Tears stained the ground, and I noticed the grass I was standing on had died and rotted.

I scowl, and the air around me darkens further in rage as the Tear/Air ratio increases. "I didn't get ANYTHING from either one, actually. however, i did get some power from the Sea..." I hold out my hands, dripping black water. The air continues to bubble around me, but that's only natural.

Lucas shudders slightly from the way she said that. But he was very good at concealing it and his smirk was still as confident as ever. 'Maybe...just maybe I do...like her..' He thought to himself. He snapped his finger and a flamed flickered to life. He knealt down to a to the drops of black water and then manipulated the flames to come in contact with the liquid. "Let's see what will happen, shall we?" He said to her.

interestingly enough, the fire didn't burn the tears. the tears didn't consume the fire. it became something else entirely, a glob of liquid, teary fire, giving off a black smoke that was heady with sorrow. I gave a small grin. beautiful. this kid would be useful. she imagined what would happen if the fire was to be upon her, and felt an arousing. odd. did she honestly get off from that? oh, well. this kid had his uses, but if he was trying for a relationship, he would probably be dissapointed... probably

"Ah that's strange. But also very, very interesting." Lucas mussed as he stood back up. He wondered if he could control this mix of flames and tears. He held his hand out but oddly enough the substance didn't bend to his will. He raised and eyebrow and looked up at Opheila, but just shrugged as if it didn't matter.

I concentrated on the TearFire, and surprisingly, the substance shifted. I concentrated on lifting it, meaning to turn it into a ball, then to throw it into a seat in the arena.
OOC- what say you to they can hear each other's thoughts whilest in the presence of Tearfire?

Lucas concentrated just as intensely on the substance and it lifted into the air. 'Interesting.....interesting....' A thought ran through his head. The strange thing though because the though wasn't his own. 'What was that? Wait....no...no it couldn't be....Not Ophelia's..' Hee thought and then raised an eyebrow and wondered in shock if she could hear his thoughts.

I concentrated, and the TearFire coalesced into a 'What was that? Wait....no...no it couldn't be....Not Ophelia's..' at this sudden intrusion to my mind, i lost all control over the Tearfire, and it splashed to the ground, still burning. was it possible that we were mentally linked? Was it because of the Tearfire? I decided to test it. Speaker Check, LEFT SIDE! I mentally shouted. OOC-if she hurts him, she'll reply with feelings of Sympathy. that'll give you some Muse.
