| The calm before a storm, Ariana thought, interested. The calm right before was sometimes more frightening, or more intimidating, than the storm itself. She sat down with her back to a birch and braced her arms loosely around her knees. She didn't know what they were talking about at all, and unless it threatened the safety of the camp, didn't really care. | |
